Certifications

FSSC 22000
Iceport is the only third-party storage facility with Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000), recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The recognition covers all aspects of food safety: risk management, quality control, hygiene practices, personnel training and supplier monitoring.
Halal
Certified for receiving commodities in accordance with Islamic precepts by CDIAL Halal. Halal is of Arabic origin and means “permitted.” These commodities require greater handling care, such as appropriate storage placement, without contact with other commodities.
AFE
In addition to food, Iceport has the Operating Authorization (AFE), issued by the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), for the storage of medications in all formats, such as tablets, syrups and injectables.
