Port terminal marks its presence at the 30th edition of South America’s largest logistics, cargo transportation, and foreign trade fair

Business starts with connections. With this purpose, Portonave, the first private container port terminal and productivity leader in Brazil, will be present at the 30th edition of Intermodal South America 2026, the leading logistics trade fair in South America. The event will take place on April 14, 15, and 16 at Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo. The Company’s booth will serve as a space to welcome clients – shipping lines, exporters, and importers – as well as to prospect new partnerships through networking.

During the fair, the booth will feature meeting rooms to serve business partners. In addition, as part of its commitment to decarbonization, the Company’s booth will be Carbon Neutral this year. As such, all emissions generated by the company and by the suppliers involved in assembling the space have been offset. The carbon emissions of visitors who pass through the booth throughout the event will also be offset. The space will further feature unprecedented digital interactions for visitors.

Recognized for excellence in customer satisfaction and customer experience in Brazil, the Port Terminal achieved leadership in two indicators of the 2025 Port Terminal Customer Satisfaction Survey, conducted by the Ibero-Brazilian Institute for Customer Relations (IBRC): the Spontaneous Satisfaction Index (SSI) and the Customer Journey Index (CJI) – relevant industry highlights to be celebrated during Intermodal.

In the national scenario, Portonave ranks fourth in long-haul full container throughput, with a 9% market share, according to Datamar data for 2025, and stands out for having the highest productivity in Brazil, averaging 114 Moves per Hour (MPH) per vessel, according to the National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ), in the last year.

During the event, visitors will also have access to further information about new private investments in modern and sustainable infrastructure. The Company is implementing a robust investment package focused on quay upgrades and the acquisition of new port equipment. As a result, the Port Terminal will be prepared for operations with depths of up to 17 meters and to accommodate vessels of up to 400 meters in length.

Altogether, private investments total approximately BRL 2 billion and will expand annual operating capacity from 1.5 million to 2 million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units). Beyond operational capacity, the investments will also enable advances in decarbonization, such as the future installation of a shore power system, which will allow the supply of electrical power to berthed vessels.

Services
The company offers comprehensive services for handling export and import containers, both dry cargo and reefer (temperature-controlled) cargo, as well as extensive expertise in special cargo operations. As a differentiator, it provides solutions for temperature-controlled products in its fully automated cold storage facility – the first and only one structured within a port terminal in the country.
