Port Terminal hosted 750 visitors, including clients and authorities, at the 30th edition of Intermodal South America 2026

Portonave’s participation at Intermodal highlighted its positioning as a benchmark in excellence, high productivity, and commitment to sustainability, as the country’s first private container port terminal. Held from April 14 to 16 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, the event served as a meeting point for shipping lines, exporters, and importers of dry and reefer (temperature‑controlled) cargo, as well as industry authorities, with around 750 visitors hosted at the company’s booth.

During the event, the Company celebrated the results of the 2025 Port Terminal Customer Satisfaction Survey, conducted by the Ibero‑Brazilian Institute of Customer Relationship (IBRC), in which it achieved leadership in the Spontaneous Satisfaction Index (SSI) and the Customer Journey Index (CJI). The Port Terminal also stands out as the national leader in vessel productivity, according to the National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ), with an average of 114 moves per hour (MPH) in 2025.

For Marcos Borba, Commercial Manager, the trade fair is a strategic opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers, as well as to prospect new partnerships and opportunities. “We listen to our customers and their needs with the goal of continuously assessing how we can further raise the standard of our services,” says Borba.

In addition, visitors received updates on the BRL 2 billion investment plan. The investment includes quay improvement to enable operations at depths of up to 17 meters and to accommodate vessels up to 400 meters in length; new container handling equipment – scheduled for completion in the second half of this year; and the most modern Operational Excellence Development Center in South America – expected to be inaugurated in May. As a result, the annual operating capacity will increase from 1.5 million TEUs (a unit equivalent to a 20‑foot container) to 2 million TEUs.

Among the authorities who attended the event were Tomé Franca, Minister of Ports and Airports; Alex Sandro de Ávila, National Secretary of Ports; Frederico Carvalho Dias, Director‑General of the National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ); and Vice Admiral Wilson Pereira de Lima Filho, Director of ANTAQ, who visited Portonave’s booth.

Aligned with its decarbonization strategy, the Port Terminal’s booth was Carbon Neutral. In addition to offsetting emissions generated by the Company and the suppliers involved in assembling the space, visitors’ emissions were also offset by compensating for carbon emissions related to travel to the fair.
